Life After School

So I have had a couple of people asked what we are doing after graduation so here it is.
Brad got accepted to a GPR in Allentown...for our dental student friends, Owen and Ryan are in this GPR now. While it was really tough when we did not match in pedo this year, we are excited to see what the next year holds. A big thanks to Owen for talking to Brad about the GPR and the director of the program!
We don't know where we are going to live yet but we are trying to figure that out as soon as possible. Brad is going to re-apply to pedo next year so we are gearing up for the application process and all the money and stress that come with it.
Brad is such an optimist and always tries to find the good in a bad situation (a quality I lack) and has really been a good example to me of how to handle the curve balls in life.
This is certainly not what we had in mind...but thinking back...all the really good things we have after 5 years of marriage were certainly not perceived as 'great' at first, but have later proved to be the biggest blessings. So we get to wait another year and enjoy another wild ride. Brad keeps things interesting in our life...thank goodness because I am a real dud!

Valentines Day

Sorry for all the pictures but we had so much fun getting ready for Valentines Day...I just couldn't decide which to post. We started off the day before Valentines day with some friends over. Please note Brad at the top of the dog pile...if one kid falls Brad is ready to jump on top of them! :-)
Then later while Gabi was napping Brad and I made some heart shaped sugar cookies for his pre-school. Brad was a big help and did a great job helping cut the hearts out. He even helped me stir our frosting to get it just the perfect, red and pink!
It was a big hit the next day for his party, because the kids had alot of fun decorating their cookies and piling on the icing and sprinkles.
Gabi fit right in with the other kids and didn't miss a beat.
The kids got a tent from Aunt Brandi and Uncle Robert which they were so excited about. They have played in that tent, on the tent and knocked the tent over many times since it was put up...and that was just a couple of days ago.
Gabi got 3 cute shirts because both grandparents sent her one and we got her one...I guess we should communicate better...but she looked cute and it was fun to put them on her.
I just wanted to share some pictures from the day of Love!
